Christy Griffin wants the world to “Be Delighted.” Inspired by her past experience as a personal trainer, Griffin, who owns and operates Belle Vive Spa & Wellness Centre, has a deep appreciation for the importance of personal wellness.
“When I was a personal trainer, I witnessed the struggles and turmoil many people experienced in the pursuit of personal wellness,” said Griffin. “I was inspired to help people become healthy from the inside out.” With that mission, she opened Belle Vive Spa & Wellness Centre, located in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
“Belle Vive Spa & Wellness Centre is more than a salon, it’s a place where you go to focus on making yourself whole,” said Griffin. This includes nutrition counseling, hair services (including hair replacement), body treatments, facials and more. All services are provided in the warm, welcoming environment of a charming boutique Victorian-style home in downtown Fort Mill.
Griffin’s goals extend beyond her loyal clientele, as she also encourages employees to strive for a greater personal purpose. Employees regularly give both time and money to local charities through the popular “Jeans for Charity” program. Employees are allowed to wear jeans on Fridays if they donate to the “Jeans for Charity” fund. Each month, Belle Vive employees select a local charity that will receive that month’s collection. It has resulted in thousands of dollars donated to Fort Mill families and charities over two years’ time. Belle Vive Spa & Wellness Centre also sponsors several non-profit events and services each year, with the goal of spreading “delight” through wellness education and services.
Griffin also participates actively in the Carolina Business Leaders, an organization comprised of business leaders from Fort Mill and Charlotte. Her advice to anyone interested in starting a business is simple. “Be humble. Stay focused. Surround yourself with knowledgeable people and know your industry. Never doubt yourself.”
Griffin was born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. She attended Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. She has three children ages 9 to 20. Her pastimes include spending time outdoors with family, especially horseback riding with daughter Jenna. She also enjoys hiking with her dog Bentley, traveling, reading and watching movies.All our designers, stylists, therapists, trainers, technicians and estheticians

WHAT TO EXPECT
Although we welcome walk-ins, we do recommend that you make an appointment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Should you arrive late, your service time will be shortened to allow the staff member to remain on schedule.

Please leave your cell phone, PDA and jewelry at home. We are not responsible for lost or misplaced items of value.
No one can be delighted if they’re distracted. Even well-behaved children can be a distraction for you, our staff and other clients. Please make childcare arrangements prior to your appointment to ensure everyone is delighted.
For a massage, disrobing is at your discretion. Our therapists are trained to drape you discreetly and to protect your privacy at all times. While we recommend disrobing completely, you decide what’s comfortable and appropriate for you. Our concern is your complete relaxation and peace of mind. You’ll be delighted by our comfortable setting. Please let us know if you have any fragrance or skin allergies so we may accommodate you.

We invite and encourage you to try new products and services with each visit. If your stylist is not available, or if you’re ready for a change, feel free to try a different member of our team. Our artistic designers are comfortable with it and we want you to be as well.

GRATUITIES
Tips are graciously accepted and much appreciated by our staff only when you are completely delighted by our services. At least 15% gratuity is usual and customary.

Our greatest compliment is your confidence in our ability to delight. When you have a pleasant experience, tell others. If you have a suggestion on how to improve our services, please bring it to our attention so that we may continue to delight you and your friends.
CANCELLATIONS
We kindly ask for a 24 hour notice on all cancelled or rescheduled appointments. Less than a 24 hour notice will require a 50% payment and no-shows will be charged the full 100% cost. Credit cards required to hold Saturday appointments.
